Allen County Council on Aging logoFederal funding was secured by the Allen County Council on Aging to provide rural transportation to all residents of Allen County. This program is available for a one-w ay trip fee of $3.00.

Seniors age 60 and overqualify for our transportation services at a suggested donation of $2.00 per one-way trip.

For example, if you need transportation from Fort Wayne to Woodburn, Leo or New Haven, or from outlying Allen County towns into Fort Wayne or other Allen County towns, you would qualify for Countilink.

Trips are provided to the doctor, pharmacy, grocery store, shopping, beauth/barber shop-anywhere you may need to go in Allen County.

This new public transportation service will be provided in Allen County where Citilink does not provide bus or van service - transit trips tha tend and/or begin outside of FortWayne. For example, a mother with two children living just outside of Monroeville needing to take her children to Parkview Hospital on State Street will be able to do so via public transportation. This new service will be able to transport people of all ages in rural Allen County.


The Allen County Council on Aging, a client-focused agency, is committed to helping older adults who need assistance to maintain independence, mobility and dignity. We provide vital services to meet the needs of seniors who want to remain active in their community.


Transportation is offered Monday through Friday from 8:l5 a.m . to 4:00 p.m . Call between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to schedule a trip. Al ltrips may be scheduled up to one month in advance. Trips are by reservation only. All riders must register over the phone or in person at least 24 hours in advance. Call 260-424-20l0.

$3.00 one-way trip fee; seniors free with a suggested donation of $2.S0.


Full passenger assistance is provided. However, client must have a ramp, or be able to maneuver on stairs out of their homes.
